Pentru a lupta impotriva acestei hotarari, Organizatia pentru Protectia Animalelor VIER PFOTEN incepe Campania “Cainii simt oamenii. Oamenii ce simt?”.

In April 2001, the General Mayor of Bucharest, Mr. Traian Basescu, decided that the stray dogs have to be liquidated.

 In order to fight against this decision, the animal rights organization VIER PFOTEN started the campaign:  “Dogs feel people. What do people feel?”.
